Observing a baby bird that didn't quite (yet) know how to be a bird was a key moment in my realization that I wanted to, and could indeed, become a Muslim. Alhamdulillah.

It's amazing to me that that little wobbling ball of fluff with a beak will likely become a magnificently feathered and lethally efficient little predator, God willing.

And I love the "pants" of feathers common to a lot of raptors!
